MAINE LIONS LEARN AND GROW BY REMEMBERING TO... BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, BE SAFE

What are Lion's Loot?
Lion's Loot are used school-wide to acknowledge positive behavior choices. They can be given by any teacher or staff member who observes a student being respectful, responsible, or safe. Each classroom collects their Lion's Loot, and at the end of each month, they count the total earned. The classroom with the most Lion's Loot gets to host Jeffrey the Lion for the month. The Lion's Loot from all classrooms is combined at the end of each month, and when the school's thermometer is filled, a school-wide celebration is held.

What are BTF forms?
Behavior Tracking Forms (BTF) are used to monitor and track student behavior. They serve two purposes.  First, the documentation on these forms allows the staff to identify areas in which modeling, teaching, and practice opportunities need to occur. Second, these BTFs serve as a communication tool. They ensure that parents are made aware of behaviors that are occurring at school. By working together, schools and families can make the learning environment at Maine the best it can be for every child.
