The goal of the Maine PTO is to provide additional educational opportunities to our students.  In the time of budget cuts, PTO is an essential component to enhancing our students’ educational experiences.  Our Maine school PTO funds transportation for field trips, brings in various programs for in house assemblies, gives teachers monies for the extras in their classrooms (rewards, treats, supplies, etc.), pays for snacks on some field trips, and special requests by teachers, just to name a few.

Over the last several years, PTO has been able to purchase several of the Smart boards that are now in the classrooms at Maine. If you don’t know what a Smart board is get into your child’s classroom. It is amazing how this technology can enhance student learning.

This year we hope to continue all the great things that we provide our students with here at Maine. We cannot do it without wonderful parents like all of you.  We are asking you to get involved and help enhance those educational opportunities provided to our students and help support our awesome teachers.

MISSION:  
Our purpose is to provide a positive and enhanced school environment by supporting the staff and children through the use of funds and volunteers.

A major goal for our PTO is to provide the school, teachers, and students with funds, equipment, and services by holding multiple fundraiser activities throughout the year.  In the beginning of every school year, a volunteer request form is sent home asking for any support you can give. Please complete this form or call any of the officers if you would like to help. If at any time, you or someone you know would like to give a monetary donation to our PTO, we would accept it and appreciate it greatly.
